The RESPECT

Do we still know the meaning of this word? Yes, we all would like to be honoured and respected by others. But what do we do for this to happen?

Fourth commandment which each of us knows at least a little, says: “Honour thy Father and Mother.” But, how do we grasp this commandment? That every child has to honour its parents? But what do parents do to earn the respect of their children? And have parents ever thought that this commandment speaks to them? Honour thy Father and Mother, or, “Father and Mother behave the way your children can honour and respect you. Be role models to give them support and example of true humanity.”

That is the basic problem of our society. In the hurry and confusion, which is so common nowadays, many of us barely find strength to follow this commandment. Also laziness hinders some parents in achievement of moral and noble values which could be great examples for their children. Thus, many children cannot even have parents who could be role models for them - role models that they could honour and respect. After all, from them they gain the basics for their future life. If the basics are strong and good, then the personality of a child will be strong and good, too. So that, if none of us strives to achieve the true humanity, then society will never be healed from its moral decline.

We hear more and more about the gruesome things that happened in families between parents and children. We hear how parents restrict their children and or even worse – they abuse them. Each of these news shocks us and we cannot understand how somebody could treat their children this way. But that is just outcome of our laziness because of which we are not able to achieve true humanity. State of morality is therefore coming down and down, and this causes and gives way for such dark spirits to incarnate to Earth which should not be here in the first place.

Just look what stand people take towards the moral lapses of their neighbours which overstep the true humanity. It is quite common that people do not hope anymore that a relationship between two people can be without infidelity. Psychologists and various consultants advise people how to hide such things from the other one. Even that proves that we lack the desire for ideals, the desire for true humanity, for love. It only shows how we do not respect the Law of give-and-take. Even here the majority of people wants mainly to take.

This shows only human quandary and laziness to strive for something higher, nobler, and thus honourable.

Just consider: what do people do to enjoy themselves, what do they deem natural? All kinds of fashion shows speak only about how women do not respect themselves. They do not realize how they mortify their bodies - tools of their spirits - which were given to all of us to ennoble ourselves on Earth. Body - this gift – women exhibit to show off like a piece of stock, like on an exhibition of horses for sale.

Many women dress and behave at home or in society under the influence of these things. Where is the nobility of the true womanhood which without a word leads and raises men to the true values?

It is the women who are responsible for the state of morality in society. No matter if they are willing to admit it or not. Because, what are the women of a certain nation like, such is its state of spirituality and morality. Every woman affects by her inner mood what spirit will she draw to the just developing body of a future child that she is expecting. For this it is important for her to be able to vibrate in the most harmonic waves that she can make. But who of the women knows that? Who of them is willing to admit it even for a moment? In this regard, only selfishness prevails. Growing need of women to assert themselves in society brings them only inability of the more subtle and more harmonic vibrations. For this the children that these women deliver always correspondent to even one more degree below the spiritual degree of a mother, and women have to bring them up, then.

But how does this upbringing look, when women return to their jobs immediately? And if they stay with them at home, they are unable to create such a harmonic environment in which spiritually healthy children could grow up. Have a look at mothers, many of them are pushing a stroller, having a lit cigarette, a mobile phone up to their ear, and when they talk or direct their children, it is mostly inharmonious even hysterical cry which cannot evoke anything but the same hysterical cry of their children.

Mothers mostly fail to create such home, such background, where in a harmonic and loving relationship of a man and woman children could grow. From this then comes today’s disrespect among people, because the most of them does not even know what it means, and have never experienced such thing. From it many ugly deeds of individuals grow subsequently.

And how do we react to such deeds? The most of people resents the horrible thing which somebody did, but they themselves do not realize they add to the unfulfilment of humanity with their little acts. By that they reinforce the thought-forms of laziness, hatred, malice, despondency, by which the spiritually lower are strengthened after. So that if we resent this or that in society, it means we would like to change much, but we are already so lazy and apathetic that we do not realize that each of us participates in these deeds by his or her own unfulfilling of true humanity, morality, and spiritual desire to strive up to the Light.

People laugh at everything nobler these days, or on the contrary, they find it fishy. How is it possible? Society is benevolent to deeds against morality and humanity, and everything nobler creates a sense of jeopardy and doubt? Does not it indicate that the society is ill from the root? Thus, the treatment should necessary begin from the root.

Nothing is easier than that, yet many of us do find it hard. It only needs certain effort, and the desire to become better, to understand the context, to examine every little thing in depth, and not to be shallow in any thinking and acting. To be as such as we want others to be towards us. We can discern it easily – what is annoying for us in the behaviour of others, what dispirits and bothers us. The same thing bothers and oppresses others in our behaviour. If we can comprehend it, we will immediately know how we have to change our behaviour towards other people, so for them to be able to honour and respect us. By that we are supportive for others; we can encourage them and show them that it is meaningful to strive for humanity, and slowly, step by step, we can thus help to cure the society.

It is in hands of each of us! Nobody can make excuses that it is impossible, that the society is colossus too difficult for us to change it. Realize then, what constitutes the nation. It is the individual regions, regions include individual towns and villages, and they consist of individual families. And we are at the root of the problem, now. If we begin to cure the smallest units, in the circle of our family, even the little things, we will learn to live in loving relationships. Then neighbours, towns, nations can learn to live side by side. It is not a utopia. Only legendary human laziness and idleness foil that, going hand in hand with complacency.

But we can overcome it. We just need to want.

Then, where can we find power and help?

Because mankind forgot about its spiritual origin and the purpose of its life on Earth, it has forgotten the knowledge about the Creator, about the God. People, guessing that they can do whatever they want in this one short earthly life, that there is nobody who can see their thoughts and deeds, hidden from other people’s eyes, have no inhibitions then to do whatever injustice to others.

But this is a great mistake of these unfortunate souls. For, this entire universe, the entire Creation, it was all created from the Will of God, and it is all based upon unbending Justice, based upon the Laws which work with this Justice. So, if we learn to know these Laws that were given to us in the Ten Commandments and now even in seven new Laws, if we live, respecting the Laws of nature and fulfilling everything what we understand in conviction, then the whole society will be able to be healed, and we will be able to find the constantly sought happiness.

But women have to begin with these all, because women are given subtler means for listening to spiritual impulses. Nevertheless, the society has been coming lower and lower so far, as we can see in news coming to us from all over the world day after day.

Therefore, let us walk heartily, with a dear desire for noble and spiritually mature society! As women, let us become the guardians of the flame of a pure desire for the Light.

For a clearer explanation, I quote words of a Russian writer Ivan Alexandrovich Goncharov which he put into the mouth of his hero Raisky, in the novel The Precipice:

“Women! For long have I been striding amongst you, like a mad man with the lamp of Diogenes, seeking features of immortal beauty.

I have not been luring you into the depths of erudition, I have not been calling you to do rough unwomanly works, and I have not been discussing laws with you, for I have acknowledged your primacy. We are unequal:  you stand above us, you are the power, and we are merely your tools. Do not take from our hands neither plough, nor spade, nor sword. We shall prepare soil for you, glamorize the Earth, we shall descend to the bowels of the Earth, we shall sail across the seas, we shall count the stars for you – whilst you, giving us life, protect us like Providence itself, our childhood and youth, raise us to be honourable men, teach us to work, teach us humanity, the good and the Love which the Creator put to your Hearts. Then, we shall bravely cross the storms of life, and we shall follow your steps there, where everything is perfection, where eternal is beauty.

Time has freed you from many chains by which the deceitful and abusive tyranny chained you; time shall free from other chains too, it will free your huge, harmoniously connected powers of brain and heart – and you shall go your way forthright and bravely, using your freedom better than we use ours.”

Thus we can experience how a noble man perceive woman. Man can honour and respect such a woman. Let us walk with effort in our lives on the path leading to the Light, and let us not waste our lives with a light-minded and lazy entertainment. Let us not cry over our fate of the misunderstood and the unrecognized, for this is a selfish attitude towards life, which will never lead us to happiness.

Let us learn to help our vicinity by joyful deeds. Let us strengthen everything in us and around us to nobility. Let us do such activities which allow us to do so. Let us develop our femininity and let us find its pure and splendid form. Let us not imitate men in their active behaviour. We can and have to change everything regarding this. We only need to want and not to fear to follow the beautiful goal. Let us remember as well, that only a person who is unhappy inside can laugh at purity and dignity. But we can give them a helping hand by our behaviour and vibrations. Let us stand with a healthy pride and dignity, and above all, with the purest thoughts towards other people.

We are gifted with our greater subtlety of sentience for receiving the flows from on high. And thus we can observe and learn to know the speech of the Creation, which is talking to us every day with many little things. Our pure inner voice is then able to discern the pure from the impure, the true from the false.
